Honor Societies Induct Walden Members

Congratulations to the new members of three of Walden’s honor societies—Pi Alpha Alpha, Psi Chi and Sigma Iota Epsilon.


On Jan. 26, before Walden University’s 37th commencement ceremony, three of the university’s honor society chapters inducted new members.

 

Pi Alpha Alpha, the national honor society formed to recognize and promote excellence in the study and practice of public affairs and administration, inducted the following new members:

Mary Hein
Ph.D in Psychology student Mary Hein was among the Psi Chi inductees.

 

 

Psi Chi, the national honor society for psychology, inducted more than 180 members, including the following who attended the ceremony:

  • Suzanne Schultz

“I felt so honored to be an inductee, and I felt nervous at the responsibility,” said Mary Hein, a Ph.D. in Psychology student and new inductee. “I was making a commitment to do my best to further the field of psychology. Also, I would represent Walden University. I take both of these commitments seriously.”

 

 

Sigma Iota Epsilon inductees

 

Sigma Iota Epsilon, a nationally recognized business association that is both an honorary and professional fraternity, inducted the following members:
