Never Eat Alone Author Serves as M.B.A. Contributing Scholar

Relationship-building expert Keith Ferrazzi brings cutting-edge ideas to M.B.A. students

Keith Ferrazzi, author of Never Eat Alone: And Other Secrets to Success, One Relationship at a Time, will share his insights as a contributing scholar in Walden University’s M.B.A. program.

As founder and CEO of Ferrazzi Greenlight, Ferrazzi provides market leaders with advanced strategic consulting and training services. He is a frequent contributor to CNN and CNBC, and has written for publications including Forbes, Inc., The Wall Street Journal and Harvard Business Review. Ferrazzi earned a B.A. from Yale University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Walden selects contributing scholars based on their ability to add something both significant and unique to program courses.

“He definitely provided that for us,” says Dr. Rebecca Sidler, faculty chair for Walden’s M.B.A. program. “He brought in cutting-edge ideas that we can share with our M.B.A. students—not just from his book, but also concepts that he and his corporation have been working on in consultation with both small and large corporations.”

Although the use of contributing scholars is nothing new for Walden programs, the level and nature of their participation varies from course to course and program to program, Sidler says. Ferrazzi’s participation comes by way of video segments filmed both in an interview setting as well as before a cross-section of professionals in Baltimore.
