On Oct. 6, Walden alumni, students, faculty and staff will devote their Saturday to a good cause during the university’s second annual National Day of Service.

Walden's Alumni Association is organizing the event and will be working with volunteers to locate existing projects in their area or to plan a project and solicit volunteers.

For Walden’s first National Day of Service, projects ranged from restoring wetlands to
serving meals at a shelter for people in need.
