M.B.A. Program Ranked Among the Most Valued by Latin Trade Magazine
Rankings were based on surveys of students and alumni. Walden University’s Master of Business Administration was one of only 45 to make Latin Trade magazine’s annual list of programs valued by readers. Walden was one of two distance-learning programs in an overall list that included Harvard University, the Thunderbird School of Global Management, and universities around the world.
To create its rankings, Latin Trade surveyed readers about their experiences with programs, using criteria such as academic experience and relevance to their careers.
“Some big-name schools are not listed here,” wrote editor Greg Brown. “Schools decline in quality yet often continue to be ranked in media polls, year after year, partly on name power. So here you have this year’s personal snapshot, according to people who know and were excited about saying so, right now.”
In the article, one respondent had this to say about Walden’s M.B.A.: “This program is quite intense, but stays up with all current trends of the business world and helps and allows students to partake and discuss the various theories throughout the program.”
Latin Trade is a monthly magazine published in English, Spanish and Portuguese for a readership of 360,000.
