The curriculum is designed to prepare adult learners for lifelong learning, career advancement and social change.
This month, Walden University is expanding access to its programs by offering a four-year Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program.
“In keeping with the vision of Walden University, our undergraduate business administration program will provide students with a strong foundation for meaningful careers in multiple disciplines. In addition, Walden undergraduate students will be not only encouraged, but prepared, to pursue lifelong learning through graduate work in aligned fields of study,” said Jonathan A. Kaplan, J.D., president of Walden University.
The four-year B.S. in Business Administration
- Blends academic theory with application and broadens student perspectives in three key areas:
- Social awareness, responsibility and civic engagement
- Cross-cultural competence
- Evidence-based decision making in an information-rich world
- Includes courses in Ethical Leadership and in Social Responsibility so that students gain knowledge and experience in areas vital to business and society
- Develops critical-thinking and problem-solving skills along with communication and leadership capabilities to prepare students to address 21st century challenges and opportunities
- Helps working professionals move forward in their careers and increase their earning potential
- Expands the nation’s qualified workforce needed for the increasing number of jobs requiring bachelor’s degrees
- Furthers Walden’s mission to help others make a difference in their communities
