In September, courses will begin for Walden University’s new Master of Healthcare Administration (M.H.A.) program. Offered through the School of Health Sciences, the program is designed to provide students with the specialized knowledge and skills required to address the needs of one of the nation’s fastest-growing industries.

This program features

  • A curriculum focused on the core competencies and best practices of the profession
  • An emphasis on understanding clinical service delivery through analysis of the day-to-day operations in clinical support service activities
  • A practicum to give students hands-on experience in the field
  • A capstone to help students develop a professional portfolio

“Walden’s M.H.A. program has been designed and developed by some of the leading experts in the U.S. health care delivery systems, with an emphasis on offering the most current, relevant curriculum that is fully aligned with best practices and recognized health care management content areas,” says Dr. Jorg Westermann, interim associate dean for the School of Health Sciences.

Current and prospective students interested in the program should contact an enrollment advisor at 1-866-492-5336 for more information. For international inquiries, go to (International Inquiries). Walden is currently accepting applications.
