Walden Offers New BSN Completion Program Evolving health care industry requires nurses with new skills and specialized training; a major nursing organization recommends that nurses have a bachelor’s degree.
In March 2009, courses will begin for Walden University’s new Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. Offered through the School of Nursing, the degree completion program is designed for current registered nurses who have a hospital diploma, associate degree in nursing (A.D.N.) or bachelor’s degree (other than a BSN), and are seeking an attainable and affordable BSN degree to help them achieve career advancement.
The BSN is a demonstration of Walden’s commitment to meeting the needs of nurses in a changing field. The introduction of this program strengthens Walden’s position as a leading provider of nursing education online.
