The latest issue of Walden's award-winning alumni magazine includes articles about social change in the Middle East, the continuing pursuit of genius, and getting your first big grant.


Walden Alumni MagazineIn February, Walden University published the fourth issue of its award-winning Walden alumni magazine.

 

The cover article, “The Continuing Pursuit of Genius,” describes how several alumni have reached their potential and made their mark with a Walden Ph.D.

 

The magazine also includes a feature, “Four Ways Forward,” about members of the Walden community promoting positive social change for people in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Iran.

 

A new department, “Faculty Insights,” explores the books being recommended by recipients of Walden’s Extraordinary Faculty Award.

There are also "Lifelong Learners" articles about graduates who have returned to Walden for another degree, including

  • Joseph Angarella, who earned an M.S. in Psychology and is now pursuing a Ph.D. in Psychology
  • Kelly Wheeler, who earned an M.P.H. and is now pursuing a Ph.D. in Public Health
  • Brian Kelly, who earned an M.S. in Psychology and is now pursuing a Ph.D. in Psychology

In March 2007, the Winter/Spring 2006 issue of Walden magazine won a Gold Marketing and Publications Award from the University Continuing Education Association.
