Highly skilled nurses who hold a master’s degree are uniquely positioned to improve their professional standing as well as significantly impact the current nurse-shortage crisis.
Walden University is proud to announce new Post-Master’s Certificates in Nursing for nurses. Three programs are being offered: Nursing Education, Nursing Leadership and Management, and Nursing Informatics. Designed to be completed in seven to nine months (depending on individual progress), the certificate programs allow master’s-level trained nurses to add greater depth and skills to their portfolio.
More Professional Recognition and Enhanced Credentials The certificates are designed for nurses who have earned a master’s degree (M.S degree in Nursing, M.S.N., M.N., etc.), including
- Nurses who may have just completed their master’s program and want to add depth to their degree
- Nurses who have a master’s degree but have been out of the educational environment for some time and may lack the credentials they need to advance their career
- Mid-level nurse managers who have a master’s degree and who have been chosen by their organizations for professional development
