Graduates from Mexico Share Their Walden Experience New video offers perspectives from Walden/Universidad del Valle de México dual-degree graduates.
![]() Walden University celebrated the graduation of more than 3,500 students from 19 countries—including the first graduates of the Walden University/Universidad del Valle de México (UVM) Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Dual Degree Program—in Minneapolis on Saturday, July 26, 2008.
Walden and UVM are part of the Laureate International Universities global network of more than 35 accredited online and campus-based universities in 19 countries, serving more than 400,000 students on more than 100 campuses around the world.
The dual-degree graduates obtained both their bachelor’s and their “licenciatura” degrees without leaving México for their schooling. Students at UVM—one of the largest and most prestigious Mexican universities—who attend the School of Administration and Economics can, from several campuses, obtain the dual degree by fulfilling both universities’ requirements while taking courses from UVM and completing online courses from Walden University. Students can complete both programs in nine semesters.
Watch the July 26, 2008, ceremony and interviews with the dual-degree graduates.
