About Academic Residencies
Walden University academic residencies help prepare students to be scholar-practitioners, connecting them with individual faculty mentors; tools that enhance writing, research and critical thinking; student support staff; and hundreds of peers who share common interests.

Conducted nearly every month for either four or six days at a university, conference center or hotel in the United States and abroad, Walden’s academic residencies provide doctoral students and some master’s students with insights into earning and applying their degrees.

The academic residencies provide a lively learning atmosphere combined with seminars, networking and travel.
