The Jan. 2009 Pi Alpha Alpha inductees from Walden

On Jan. 24, the Walden University chapter of Pi Alpha Alpha recognized its newest members. Pi Alpha Alpha is a national honor society for schools of public administration.

“It’s what our mission at this university is all about,” Walden President Jonathan Kaplan said of the School of Public Policy and Administration. “The areas in which you study continue to have an important impact.”

At the ceremony, Dr. Mark Gordon, interim associate dean for the School of Public Policy and Administration, pinned each honoree individually. He said, “Today, we are here to honor that you want to be change agents in your communities.”
