Attend Academic Residencies Meet face-to-face with faculty and peers in Los Angeles as you move toward your goals. Learn about leading a life of social commitment at Walden University’s June residencies in Los Angeles. Attendees will have the opportunity to receive individual advising, enhance research skills, attend seminars and work directly with Walden’s support staff and get help with writing, library, career services, research and student support.
Los Angeles Residencies
Conducted nearly every month at a university, conference center or hotel in the United States and abroad, Walden’s academic residencies provide doctoral students and some master’s students with insights into earning and applying their degrees.
The academic residencies provide a lively learning atmosphere combined with seminars, networking and travel.
Higher Learning Meets Hollywood
The Los Angeles Airport Marriott allows students to attend residencies in comfort and convenience. A luxury Los Angeles hotel, the property is just two blocks from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), and a complimentary shuttle is available to and from the airport. The Marriott features on-site business amenities, including copy, print and fax services, an outdoor heated pool, four dining options and a fitness facility.
Extend your stay before or after the academic residency for some extra-curricular learning. For an educational trek, don’t miss the Miracle Mile Museum Walking Tour, which includes the Peterson Automotive Museum, Los Angeles County Museum of Art and more.
