Financial Aid Tax Benefits for Students Easy-to-follow tips for educational tax credits and deductions. Walden University’s Office of Financial Aid has identified information that can help students with their 2008 taxes and 2009 tax planning.
As outlined by the nonprofit organization Edfund, students may be able to take advantage of a number of federal tax benefits, including credits and deductions, to offset costs for higher education.
