New Online Communities Offer Networking and Professional Development

Education and management professionals connect and share knowledge.

Walden University’s College of Management and Technology and The Richard W. Riley College of Education and Leadership have introduced new free online communities. These dynamic sites provide Walden students, prospective students, faculty members, alumni and other professionals the opportunity to network, stay abreast of current developments in their fields and share insights.

Think+Up hosted by the College of Management and Technology, explores the latest issues and trends in business, engineering, and IT through case studies, forums, blogs, exclusive interviews, and more.

ConnectEd hosted by The Richard W. Riley College of Education and Leadership, is designed to inform, engage, and inspire educators by allowing them to share best practices with other educators from around the globe. While other sites focus on lesson plans, ConnectEd offers practical advice about the professional and personal challenges educators face in their settings as well as in their life.

Walden students, alumni and faculty members are encouraged to join these exciting communities so they can:

  • Network with peers, colleagues and other professionals
  • Share their insights by commenting on blogs, articles and other forums
  • Invite colleagues, friends and others to visit these online communities
