Center for Student Success Resources Support Achievement

Center offerings foster degree completion, career development.

Under the auspices of the Center for Student Success, Walden University provides a range of student-centered resources that support the academic and professional development of students.

The center reflects Walden’s commitment to meeting the specific needs of adult learners balancing personal and professional commitments with their studies, and includes the following resources:

  • Career Services: Practical online tools for the complete career planning, management and advancement cycle, as well as individual consultations.
  • Academic Residencies: Opportunities for doctoral and some master’s students to meet with faculty, network with other students, and build research skills.
  • Walden Library: Extensive digital resources, as well as dedicated staff who will help students identify, evaluate, and obtain the materials they need.
  • Writing Center: Comprehensive support for academic writing, including tutoring, writing courses, one-on-one consultations, and samples and templates.
  • Student Success Courses: Supplemental courses for current and new students who would like to enhance or refresh their skills in a particular area.
  • Academic Integrity: Office that investigates and resolves integrity violations that may create an unfair academic advantage.

While not part of the center, other student resources available include Disability Services, which helps to ensure that students with disabilities have equal access to Walden programs, and the Ombudsman, who helps to resolve issues between students and faculty or staff members.

The comprehensive offerings of the center are designed to support students throughout their Walden career and beyond.
