About Academic Residencies
Walden University’s academic residencies help prepare students to be scholar-practitioners, connecting them with individual faculty mentors, student support staff, hundreds of peers who share common interests and tools that enhance writing, research and critical thinking.

Conducted nearly every month at a university, conference center or hotel in the United States and abroad, Walden’s academic residencies provide doctoral students and some master’s degree students with insights into earning and applying their degrees.

The academic residencies provide a lively learning environment combined with seminars, networking and travel.

About Minneapolis-Saint Paul
The Twin Cities metropolitan area is one of the 20 largest urban areas in the United States.

It is known for the Mall of America, its arts community, its award-winning efforts toward sustainability and its city parks. The Twin Cities are an ideal summer travel destination, with average highs for July in the low- to mid-80s and lows in the low 60s. Downtown Minneapolis and Saint Paul are easily accessible by public transportation.
