Call for Papers: PA TIMES Publish your research. Walden University students, alumni and faculty are effecting positive social change by disseminating their research and expertise.

The following is an open call for articles in 2009:
The 2009 PA TIMES Editorial Calendar is as follows: Articles must remain between 1,000 and 1,200 words, contain no references and adhere to the deadlines below. Authors need not be ASPA members. If you have any questions or want author guidelines, contact PA TIMES editor Christine Jewett McCrehin at cjewett@aspanet.org. Note: Items in parentheses are intended as subject ideas for monthly topics. Authors are not limited to these subjects and are encouraged to write in their specific areas of expertise. September Shifting Population: Demography Isn’t Just About Polling (rural economic development, water, infrastructure, agriculture, transportation, revenue effects) Submission deadline: Aug. 22, 2009 October Ethics: Trying to Get It Right (teaching ethics, ASPA’s code of ethics, workshop programs, conundrums) Education Supplement: Making PA Education Available, Affordable and Meaningful (curriculum innovations, challenges of distance learning, internship programs) Submission deadline: Sept. 22, 2009 November Multi-Sector Workforce, Third Party Government: The Broadening of PA (accountability issues, program examples, staffing challenges, nonprofits, consultants) Submission deadline: Oct. 22, 2009 December Image of the Profession: Through a Glass—Darkly? (public perception, professional perception, academic perception, image or reputation of graduate education in PA, are students getting their money’s worth and does the degree help in getting a job/performance on the job?)
