New Concentrations Offered in B.S. in Business Administration

Students can now study international business or public relations.

Walden University has added two concentrations to its B.S. in Business Administration program to help students advance their careers in today’s highly competitive job market as they work to become more effective managers.

Through the International Business concentration, students can study ways to

  • Gain a heightened understanding of international business practices and cross-cultural alliances
  • Increase their knowledge in international marketing and finance
  • Prepare to become a global manager

Through the Public Relations concentration, students can study ways to

  • Learn to generate interest and awareness for organizations
  • Create integrated messaging to leverage media opportunities for organizations
  • Successfully manage internal and external communications

“Our new concentrations in the B.S. in Business Administration program can help students build skills in two areas of vital importance in the marketplace,” said Wanda Gravett, Ph.D., associate dean of the School of Management in the College of Management and Technology. “Students can gain a deeper knowledge of international business, or they can boost their understanding of how to best promote a product or organization. Either of these concentrations can help prepare our students to be effective managers in their respective fields.”
