Call for Proposals: American Association of Blacks in Higher Education Conference

Walden University students, alumni and faculty are effecting positive social change by disseminating their research.

 

The following is an open call for proposals:


 
Association: American Association of Blacks in Higher Education
Conference: 2010 National Conference on Blacks in Higher Education
Conference Theme: Educational Collaborations and Networks: Bridges to Learning and Leading
Location: Buckhead Hotel Atlanta
Dates: March 25–27, 2010
Deadline for Proposals: October 15, 2009

Walden students who have a proposal accepted will have their $175 AABHE membership fee waived. In 2009, two Walden Ph.D. students presented at the conference.

 

About AABHE
The American Association of Blacks in Higher Education (AABHE) pursues the educational and professional needs of blacks in higher education with a focus on leadership, access and vital issues impacting students, faculty, staff and administrators. AABHE also facilitates and provides opportunities for collaborating and networking among individuals, institutions, groups and agencies in higher education in the United States and internationally. 

 

Walden University is a charter institutional member of AABHE.
