Call for Papers and Proposals: Race, Gender and Class Conference Walden University students, alumni and faculty are creating positive social change by disseminating their research and expertise.
The following is an open call for papers and panel proposals in 2010:
Association: The American Sociological Association, Section on Race, Gender & Class
Journal: The Race, Gender & Class journal
Conference: Race, Gender & Class 2010 conference
Location: Hampton Inn Hotel, New Orleans
Dates: Feb. 18–20, 2010
Proposal types: Paper or panel proposals that address the state of race, gender and class with respect to the Obama presidency.
Deadline: Dec. 1, 2009
Submission instructions: To submit paper or panel proposals, and/or volunteer to serve as a Race, Gender & Class conference organizer, contact Dr. Jean Ait Belkhir at jbelkhir@suno.edu.
Cost: $125 for students; $175 for non-students. All attendees and presenters are expected to register.
